Helping Neurodivergent Children Communicate, Connect & Thrive
Mama Mimi Inc. is a nonprofit on a mission to help neurodivergent children communicate, connect, and thrive—without waiting years for access to support.
We support children with autism, apraxia, speech delay, AAC users, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, sensory processing differences, motor planning challenges, fine motor delays, gross motor delays, and many other neurodivergent profiles. More broadly, we support children whose brains work differently—children who don't fit the traditional mold, but deserve to be understood just the same.
What started as a personal journey has grown into a global resource.
Through sign language videos, accessible tools, and real-life strategies, Mama Mimi helps families support their children at home—right now.
Many children struggle to express basic needs like hunger, discomfort, or the need for connection. While traditional systems often rely on long waitlists, Mama Mimi focuses on immediate, usable support during the most critical years of early childhood language development.
Through a growing library of educational videos, Mama Mimi teaches sign language in a way that is engaging, visual, and easy for children to learn naturally. These videos are paired with tools and resources that support multiple forms of communication, including AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), sensory-based learning, motor planning support, and parent-led strategies.
But Mama Mimi is more than content.
It is a movement toward a new kind of support system—one that is built with families, not just for them.
Through the "Share Your Spark" initiative, parents, therapists, educators, and caregivers are invited to contribute ideas, discoveries, and strategies that have helped their children. This creates a living, evolving resource where real-world solutions can be shared, tested, and expanded across the community.
Mama Mimi also helps guide families toward early intervention pathways, including programs like Early Steps, giving parents clarity on where to go, what to ask for, and how to advocate for their child.
The Long-Term Vision
The long-term vision is to build an ecosystem where neurodivergent children are not waiting to be supported—they are supported immediately through accessible tools, community knowledge, and innovative learning pathways.
At its core, Mama Mimi exists to close the gap between need and access.
Because every child deserves a way to communicate—and a community that helps them be understood.
